To say Rob Powell is intense would be an understatement when it comes to his goals, he makes the Incredible Hulk look laid back.
Powell a Teacher/Coach, and 2 Time Guinness World Record, and 2 Time World Fitness Champion, with times of, 22:11:40 ( 2001 ) and 19:17:38 ( 2002 ) is at it again.
He is cycling across Texas, 500 Miles, from The Gulf of Mexico, to The Red River, promoting fitness, and a new sport, The World Fitness Championships. Rob trademarked the rights to the sport earlier this year. The sport consists of 10 Events, trimmed down from the 11 from his Guinness World Records, to encourage more participation. The events are... 2 Mile Swim, 10 Mile Run, 10 Mile Hike, 500 Pop-Ups, 500 Hanging Leg Lifts, 100 Mile Cycle, 20 Mile Row, 20 Mile Elliptical, 3,000 Crunches, and 300,000 Pounds of Weights, using Bench Press, Lat Pulls, Seated Rows, Lat Pulls, Triceps Extension, and Curls, within a 24 Hour Limit.

Powell will begin his journey in Corpus Christi, and will cover at least 100 Miles per day.
